So far, no RCB captain managed to win an IPL trophy even after being very close several times. The team reached the finals in 2009, 2011, and 2016 but fell short. This leaves the fans anxious and heartbroken over the course of the season of the Captains of RCB as the team has always been competitive enough to win the final championship, but has never been able to do so.
